[2013/03/18] Federal names Rito Marketing as official sole partner to distribute in Malaysia

Taiwan-based Federal Tyres has recently announced the appointment of Rito Marketing in Johor Bahru as their exclusive distributor in Malaysia.

As part of our efforts to grow the sport of drifting in Malaysia, Rito Marketing has extended its intention to raise awareness of the brand and reaffirmed the active involvement of Federal Tyres in the motorsport activities. The company staged the Federal Tyres Pro AM Drift Series 2013 at Speed City KL in Malaysia. With the objective of providing an official driver development for new aspiring drifters aiming to compete in prestigious Formula Drift Asia Series, the series is scheduled for 5 rounds for weekly Saturday Night “Drift Assault!” in 2013 season.

The battle was intense throughout the event, and qualifying session was no short of excitement, where Mervyn Nakamura was victorious to lead the pack with a score of 78 points among the qualifiers. His FD3s equipped with Federal RS-R handing the win to the second place overall, and made an amazing achievement by winning the Federal Tyres Pro AM Drift Series 2013 Round 2. The tyre provided exceptional performance throughout the competition, as it delivered real potential for drifters to increase traction to suit various applications with wide selections in popular sizes of highly modified and tuning market.
