[2011/8/10] Federal reviews sixth leg of Russian Hot Hatch Club Championship for a thrilling racing season of 20

Being named the first tire maker in Taiwan engaged at the highly competitive level of world motorsport this year to supply the Russian Hot Hatch Club Championship (RHHCC), Federal Tyres was delighted to see more of close on-track battle when the 6th round of the race took place at the challenging ADM Myachkovo circuit on 16th July over the racing weekend.

Established in 2010, the Russian Hot Hatch Club Championship is a time attack series, and this year they hold 11 stages with almost 100 entrants on each stage. Already on its half way of the season, Federal is pleased to announce that cooperation was extremely fruitful so far. Federal’s FZ-201 tyres have been designed to combine technology with entertainment, contributing some quickest breath-taking lap time improvements from the start to the finish of the Russian race and plenty of overtaking. The most competitive podium finishers, from all classes of Warm Hatch, Hot Hatch as well as Super Hatch classes, have all rode FZ-201 semi-slick road legal racing tyres as the glorious winners.

These finest talents and professionals have had a taste of the new FZ-201 rubber during the recently concluded practice session, with the Taiwanese tires performing faultlessly in a wide range of weather and track conditions. Numerous “hot” and “warm” versions of very popular hatch backs by European and Japanese marquees with different treatments, driving styles and levels of skill to run on the demanding track, they all found FZ-201 useful in getting on the podium. Moreover, they were impressed and have made some compliments to the flagship line-up in Federal Motorsports because of the extremely versatile features, innovative development, and advanced technology of this tyre, “We have to thank everyone at Federal for supplying their fastest ever tires which comes into a series while delivered a good and consistent grip that not only lasts throughout the race, but that we can also put pressure on.”

Taz Yeh, Project Manager of Federal Motorsports (FMS) commented, “We warmly congratulate those top drivers for wins on various stages of RHHCC 2011. It is a great pride for us to represent Federal as official tyre sponsor of the successful time attack series. We also want to use the competition to demonstrate the advantages of our tyres to our sports fans on the road. It is very fitting that FZ-201 matches its commitment to delivering race tires with all-around performance in braking, turn in, cornering power, corner exit and power down around the track.” “We hope that the action today has rewarded their faith in us as we continue at ADM Myachkovo for the next round.” He went on.

ADM Myachkovo is one of the oldest racetracks in Russia. Firstly opened to public back in 2005, this 3,275-meters track with 17 turns has become a benchmark one to all the legal motorsports enthusiasts. It is also a hatchery for many outstanding veterans as well as famous point of attraction for newcomers.
